Cumin is a herb used world over for cooking. If is known as Jeera in Hindi, Cumino is Spanish and is used both as whole seeds and in powdered form. It has a strong flavour and is an integral part of Indian cooking. It resembles fennel seeds and caraway seeds but the taste of all three are different.
